30, rue Pierre de Coubertin

On 20-23 April 2013, IFLRY organizes a Summit in Strasbourg for its member organizations at the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the coming into force of the European Convention on Human Rights. At the event, youth representatives will examine the state of access of young people to human rights in the various member states of the Council of Europe area, and beyond. The Summit will attempt to outline a common position what a rights-based approach for youth could mean from a liberal perspective, as well as analyse and discover ways on how to promote the access of youth to rights on a national and European level and what role political youth organizations can play. The Summit will also interact with liberal national parliamentarians that are gathering the same week in Strasbourg. This event receives the support from the Youth Department of the Council of Europe and the ALDE Group in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
