General Assembly & Conference – Liberal Pluralism, Diversity & Intercultural Dialogue
###### if you are joining us in Sofia, please check the Technical Reader from here #######
IFLRY will hold its 45th General Assembly in Sofia from 22nd until 24th of March, 2019. The General Assembly will gather member organisations from all over the world. The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of IFLRY and will among other things deal with:
- Vice President Elections
- Membership Applications
The event will be co-hosted by Youth Movement for Rights and Freedoms (Youth MRF) and supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom
Together with YMRF we will also organize a one-day conference on “Liberal Pluralism, Diversity & Populism”.
Registration for the General Assembly + Conference can be found here.
Make sure to register before February 21st! Contact your international officer to learn about the possibilities you have for attending the event on behalf of your member organisation. We will accept applications on a rolling basis every week, so the sooner you register, the sooner you can go ahead and book tickets.
Each MO is guaranteed as many spots as they have votes in the General Assembly. Should an MO wish to send more delegates, please let us know via email@example.com as soon as possible, so that we are aware and can jointly find solutions. In this case, we will confirm the delegates by the deadline of February 21st. Please do not book any travel until your participation has been confirmed.
Participation fee and accommodation
The participation fee is 130 Euros. This will cover accommodation for the nights of 22nd and 23rd March, breakfast and lunch on the 23rd and 24th March, dinner on the 22nd and 23rd March.*
If you live in Sofia or for other reasons do not need accommodation, the participation fee is 75 euros.*
OBS: You have to secure your own accommodation and food if you are planning to stay extra days in Sofia.
* These rates are still subject to changes until 31st of January 2019
Unfortunately, IFLRY is not able to cover any visa costs. Remember to check if you need a visa to enter Bulgaria. You can find visa information here. Please contact the IFLRY Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) in case you need a support letter.
There will be no travel reimbursement available for the IFLRY General Assembly and Conference. However, the IFLRY Office is able to provide you with a cover/support letter, should you wish to privately fund-raise your travel.
