Nominations are now open until August 28th, 2019 to attend the upcoming UN climate negotiations in Santiago Chile as part of the IFLRY Delegation.
Following the successful participation of IFLRY delegates at past UN Climate Change Conferences, particularly at the historic 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) in December 2015, the IFLRY Climate Change Programme is once more offering interested persons the opportunity to attend an important international event.
Taking place from December 2-13 in Santiago Chile, COP25 will work to advance the implementation of the Paris Agreement and advance climate action. As an organization with observer status to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, IFLRY is welcomed to participate in proceedings.
Before applying please keep in mind that:
– Participants are required to abide by the UNFCCC’s code of conduct as well as IFLRY’s guidelines during COP25.
– While participants are not required to stay throughout the duration of the conference, IFLRY will allocate badges for each week to optimize participation.
– IFLRY is unable to offer funding for travel and accommodation. We can however issue letters of support should you seek sponsorship from other sources.
